Disengaging your staff

One of the best ways to lose your top talent and demotivate your employees is to conduct an employee engagement survey and then fail to act on the results and feedback.

The message sent to employees is “senior management don’t care about our values and visions.”

Unfortunately, I have seen this happen all too often.

If you truly value your employees, take the feedback on board and ACT ON IT!

Not conducting a survey will deliver a better result that not acting on the feedback, so think carefully before you act.

Those organisations that act on feedback tend to have more engaged employees who give their loyalty in return by staying longer, working harder and delivering a better customer experience.
